HELP US RUN THE LAUNDRY

Washing clothes and bedding in Aboriginal communities is harder than you might think. Overcrowding creates daily challenges for people trying to wash their family’s clothes and bedding. A public laundry where people can rely on working machines, water, power and detergent helps to overcome these challenges and can break the cycle of disease and sickness common in Aboriginal communities.

Help us to run this vital service by donating:

Laundry detergent for
100 washes

$160

Costs to pay one laundry  employee for one day

$184

Electricity to power 100 wash and 100 dry cycles

$149

We have been working with AIG to get a laundry in our community to wash our blankets, sheets and school uniforms.
