Remote Laundries Project improves the health and quality of life for people in remote communities and provides sustainable Indigenous employment opportunities. The project confronts and conquers challenging community issues, including the unacceptable statistic that seven out of ten Aboriginal children living in remote communities will contract scabies before their first birthday.

HELP US RUN THE LAUNDRY
Rheumatic heart disease, trachoma, scabies, and skin sores are at inexcusable levels in Aboriginal communities. These diseases can be prevented with regular washing of bedding, clothing, and towels.
Remote Laundries Project provides reliable access to durable machines, detergent, hot water, and power while supporting the economic advancement of our remote communities by creating sustainable employment opportunities.
